He will go all week complaining about how he can’t sleep, he’ll get about 4 hours of sleep a night. Then other days he will sleep for nearly 20 hours. There is clearly something wrong, should he go see a physician or is it just a bad sleeping habit?
Chosen Answer:
Sleep disorders come in many sizes and colors and should be taken seriously. Best to undergo a sleep study to determine what’s happening. Be sure to find a certified sleep center with board certified sleep medicine physicians. Further educational information in link below.

every evening my wife, aged 60,begins to nap from the moment she sits down for the evening, usually about 7pm.she rouses every 5mins or so.may make a comment, but if I take a few secs to answer, she,s nodded of again without hearing my reply.Nn amount of complaining on my part dters her nodding afew secs later.has she a problem or is it just me with the problem.this is repeated every evening, has done for years;HELP.
Chosen Answer:
Is she gaining weight, losing hair, have dry skin? If she does you may want to get her thyroid hormones checked out. Sleepiness is a symptom of that, or she could possibly have narcolepsy.
